Tokyo: Hatsumōde & Chéri

Hatsumōde is the first visit to shrine or temple of the Japanese new year, which is one of the event that you can experience a Japanese tradition.
We visited the new year’s festival held in Myōhōji (Myoho Temple).
It was still really cold, but this amazing Japanese wadaiko drum group Hibiki Toen was livening up the atmosphere.

After the concert, we went to food stands to satisfy our apatite.
My chéri chose a tornade potato among all the choices.
For a potato lover, the difficulty of eating the tornade potato seems not a big problem.
